At the very outset, I on behalf of the college family welcome you to this premier institution of higher education. The college was established in the year 1982 through the pioneering efforts of a team of visionaries led by Late Bhabendra Kumar Saikia. It is a provincialized college and affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by UGC, New Delhi. The college has very good infrastructure Administration building, Computer Laboratory, Psychological Laboratory, Shooting Range (Second in North-East India), Library with more than 15000 books and a good number of Magazines, daily Newspapers, Journals, Multi-Gym, spacious Auditorium, Indoor Stadium, Girls’ Hostel, College Canteen, etc. Besides, the college has Wi-Fi facilities, NCC, NSS, Career Counseling and Guidance Cell, Health Cell, Psychological Counseling Cell, Sankardeva Study Centre, Natya Charcha. The college provides scholarships to economically backward students. The college has also established a study Centre of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University and offers Undergraduate and Post-graduate courses. However, there is still a lot more to achieve and I am hopeful that in the coming days college will climb the great height of glory.
