About the Department:

The department of Sociology was established in the year 1992. Since then the department has been performing exceeding well collective activities to provide quality and value based education to the under graduate students. The department had already organized a national level seminar under sponsored by UGC in 2015. The department has been undertaking extracurricular activities like class room seminar, group discussion, field study, quiz competition etc. in every year to all semester in developing self-confidence. The department has also a library.
